Introducing Felicia Ward, Suwannee County’s newest Animal Control Officer

Having worked with the agency since April, Ward has been able to put her skills to the test, which she has honed since she was a teen.  The Tallahassee native moved to Live Oak in 2017 in search of a quieter life away from the big city. “My family and I just wanted to get out of the city life and start a homestead,” Ward said. “So we bought 10 acres of land and started a family.”  Since that time, she has pursued her career working with animals, a passion that began at
