The evening was initially opened by Clerk of Court Steve Land, as it was the county’s reorganization meeting. First, the board held internal elections for chairman and vice-chair. Commissioner Anthony Adams was renominated for chairman, and Commissioner Mason Byrd was renominated for vice-chair.
