Hornets defeat Trojans during two soccer matches

Christian Peterson reporter@riverbendnews.org On Friday, Dec. 12, the Lafayette High School Hornets hosted the Hamilton County High School Trojans for two soccer showdowns, one between the girls teams and one between the boys teams. First on the field were the girls. The Hornets entered the game with a 4-3 record, the Trojans came in at 0-5. The first half of the game was a tight match, however, the Hornets pulled away with two goals, ending the first half with a score of 2-0. After a quick break, the teams returned for the second half.
