Hornets claim 54-18 win over Aucilla Christian Warriors

The Hornets were looking to keep their five-game home winning streak alive, having defeated the Branford Buccaneers 52-18 at home on Friday, Dec. 15. At the same time, the Warriors had collected their sixth win of the season against the Wewahitchka Gators, 59-28. Against the Buccaneers, freshman Sophia Kendrick emerged as the driving force for Lafayette, achieving a notable double-double with 17 points and 16 rebounds -- her first time scoring 15 or more points in a single game this season.
