Homebuyers Education Online Classes coming in 2026

Jason Futch reporter2@riverbendnews.org The University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (UF/IFAS) has announced the return of its Homebuyer Education Online Classes. The classes, which are US Housing and Urban Development (HUD)- certified, enable participants to qualify for State Housing Initiatives Partnership downpayment assistance, HUD rental assistance, and US Department of Agriculture low- interest mortgages. During the course, participants will have the opportunity to learn more about all aspects of homeownership, including various types of mortgages and fees, how to create and maintain a household budget, pest management, landscaping and how to save energy.
