The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) recently announced on social media that a search warrant was executed at a residence in the Jennings area on Friday, Feb. 7. This operation was part of a larger initiative to address the rising concerns regarding illegal drug activities in Hamilton County over an extended period of time.
The warrant was obtained following an extensive investigation by the HCSO Drug Task Force. During the operation, deputies seized a substantial quantity of illegal narcotics, including meth, cocaine and marijuana, as well as firearms and paraphernalia associated with drug distribution. Several individuals were also arrested in the operation. Because of the ongoing investigation, these individuals have not been publicly identified; however, their names are expected to be released in the near future.
“This operation demonstrates our commitment to keeping our community safe,” Sheriff Brian Creech stated. “We will continue to work tirelessly to dismantle drug trafficking operations and hold those responsible accountable for their actions.”
According to Sheriff Creech, the operation reflects the ongoing efforts of the HCSO to ensure the safety and well-being of the community. He also stated that he appreciated the support and cooperation of the citizens of Hamilton County.
