HCHS Beta Club competes at national convention in Nashville

Chris Combass Contributor The Hamilton County High School (HCHS) Beta Club recently attended the National Beta Club Convention in Nashville, Tenn., marking the school’s second consecutive year competing at the national level under the leadership of Beta Club sponsor Samantha Livermore. This year, HCHS was represented by six students who attended in person, along with one additional qualifying entry for the competition. To qualify for the national convention, students were required to place among the top three competitors in their respective events at the Florida State Beta Convention. Representing HCHS in Nashville were Zoe Carlisle in Jewelry, Fernanda Gomez in Spanish
