Hamilton knocks out Branford, 9-0

To use a boxing analogy, when Hamilton County played Branford in the season-opener last month, the error-prone Trojans barely won by a split decision. Final score: 10-9.
Exactly 18 days later, Hamilton County delivered a knockout in the rematch, leaving no doubt who the king of the hill is between the District 6-1A opponents in an emphatic 9-0 win over the Buccaneers on Tuesday, March 9 at Hamilton County High School.
"We let them hang around that first game, and we were sloppy," Coach Chris Howard said after watching his team remain undefeated at 6-0. "I think we put ourselves in a good spot (for a possible deep postseason run)."
