Hamilton has groundbreaking for new logistics park

Christian Peterson [email protected] On Thursday, Aug. 22, the Hamilton County Board of County Commissioners, the Hamilton County Development Authority and community leaders from Hamilton County gathered at the intersection of Interstate 75 and State Road 6 in Jennings for a groundbreaking. The groundbreaking comes on the heels of Hamilton County being awarded $5.4 million from Governor Ron DeSantis. The money came from the Governor's Florida Job Growth Grant Fund and will help construction on a 57-acre parcel at the intersection. The planned development includes a logistics park, a travel center and future manufacturing opportunities.
