Hamilton County Woman’s Club holds meeting

By Jane Lowe Contributor The Woman's Club of Hamilton County met on Friday, March 12 at the club house, located at 403 6th Ave. NW, in Jasper. It was decorated in  green thanks to Delores Marable Howell. Members enjoyed a delicious lunch celebrating the patron Saint of Ireland, St. Patrick. Members had corned beef and cabbage with carrots, potatoes, cracklin' cornbread and corn pone. Delicious desserts of green layer cake and strawberry pretzel salad were also enjoyed. The pledge to the flag, devotion and prayer were led by Sybil Johnson Allen. The president, Nancy Cozart, led discussions of new and old business.
