The Hamilton County UF/IFAS Extension will host a Lunch & Learn program focused on heart health on Friday, Feb. 27, in Jasper.
The program will feature an interactive class presented by Second Harvest of the Big Bend, with an emphasis on heart-healthy eating. The class will include a live cooking demonstration and opportunities for participants to sample the featured recipes.
Individuals interested in attending are asked to reserve a spot by calling Beth Kerr, 4-H/FCS agent, at 386-792-1276, extension 7401. Reservations must be made by Tuesday, Feb. 24.
The event will take place from noon to 1 p.m. at the extension office, located at 1143 U.S. 41 N.W., in Jasper.
