Hamilton County Sheriff ’s Office launches Guardian Alert decal program

Christian Peterson [email protected] The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) is offering free Guardian Alert Vehicle decals to help first responders identify vehicles that may have an occupant with autism or special needs. The decals, part of the agency’s Guardian Alert: Autism Awareness Vehicle Program, display the sheriff’s office logo and wording alerting emergency personnel to a possible occupant with autism. The goal of implementing the decals is to provide deputies and first responders with additional awareness during traffic stops and emergency situations.
