Hamilton County schools enjoy successful first day

Rick Patrick Riverbend News During the regular meeting of the Hamilton County District School Board on Tuesday, Aug. 11, the board announced there were no transportation issues on Monday, Aug. 10, the first day of school. District staff said this was a welcome change, since the first day of school invariably has some glitches. The district extended words of appreciation and congratulations to the entire staff of both Hamilton County Elementary School (HCES) and Hamilton County High School (HCHS), especially those directly involved in student transportation, for a job well done.
