Hamilton County man leads deputies on high speed chase

A Hamilton County man was charged with fleeing and eluding law enforcement after engaging Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) deputies through the outskirts of Jennings.
On Tuesday, Oct. 21, at approximately 2:04 p.m., HCSO Deputy Yeyson Gonzales was operating his speed radar device at the intersection of Lake Country Boulevard and Northwest Southern Oak Terrace in Jennings. According to the arrest report, Gonzales observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on a dirt road, registering 45 miles per hour in a posted 35-mile-per-hour zone.
