Often, high school is the time when students begin seriously contemplating their next steps in education and future careers. Recently, students from Hamilton County High School visited North Florida College (NFC) for a mini-preview of life at NFC. They toured the campus and engaged in interactive activities, learning about potential career paths and opportunities offered locally at NFC. Students visited several NFC campus buildings, meeting instructors and students along the way. At each location, such as the Nursing School, Marshall W. Hamilton Library, Law Enforcement Academy, Fine Arts building and Student Center, they learned about Sentinel life and the career training and degree paths offered at the college and had the opportunity to ask questions about what choosing to go to NFC could mean for them. North Florida College is a public college located in Madison, Fla., with additional campuses in Live Oak and Perry. It offers a bachelor's degree in nursing, associate's degrees, certification programs and other career-focused training. For more information, visit www.nfc.edu.
