Hamilton County Development Authority announces Jennings Dollar General nearing completion

HCDA Contributor On Wednesday, Oct. 22, the Hamilton County Development Authority (HCDA) announced construction of a new Dollar General store in Jennings is nearing completion, marking continued retail growth and investment in Hamilton County, according to Executive Director Chadd Mathis. The projects began after Mathis recruited the preferred developer to Hamilton County in January 2024. This will be the second Dollar General location added to the county in the past two years.
