Hamilton County Commission approves land use fees increases

Rick Patrick editor@riverbendnews.org During the regular meeting of the Hamilton County Board of County Commissioners on Tuesday, April 7, the commissioners approved a number of requested changes in fees associated with Land Development Regulations (LDRs). Most of the fees remain unchanged from 2018, when the current fee structure was approved. The fee to amend the future land use map of the comprehensive plan changed from $1,500 to $2,000. An amendment to the text of the comprehensive plan also changed from $1,500 to $2,000. Amending the official zoning atlas of the LDR on less than or equal to 10 acres changed from $500 to $1,000.
