On Tuesday, Jan. 14, the Hamilton County High School Trojans hosted the Branford Buccaneers for two soccer matches featuring both the boys' and girls' teams. Unfortunately, the girls lost their game against the Buccaneers with a score of 3-0. However, the boys' team secured a victory, defeating the Buccaneers 62. While the competition was exciting, the primary focus of the evening was on celebrating the senior members of the Trojan teams. The girls' team had three seniors: Lopez Vasquez Guadalupe, Trinity Billings and Santana Guadalupe. The boys' team honored 13 seniors, including Larry Lopez, Simir Lopez, Juan Gomez, Miguel Santos, Abaldo Ortiz, Oscar Lugo, Sergio Ramon, Emmanuel Ramirez, Angel Bautista, Jose Toribio, Charvin Newsome, Sean Corbet Jr. and Oscar Vasquez. Trey Register was also a senior on the team but was unable to attend the event.
