Hamilton County 16U baseball wins state

Rick Patrick Riverbend News After going undefeated in both the district and state tournaments, the Hamilton County Recreation Department 16U baseball team is moving on to the national level. They will be playing in the Southeast Regional Tournament, a 10-state tournament, in Ocala, Fla., from Tuesday, July 14, through Sunday, July 19. After going undefeated in the district tournament, the Hamilton County team went on to the state tournament. There, they faced a team from Ft. Caroline and defeated them in a high-scoring 15-7 affair. They then faced the team from Melrose in a pair of contests, winning the first 9-1.
