Hamilton County 12U All Stars Softball Takes States Championship

Rick Patrick Riverbend News For the girls on the Hamilton County 12U All Stars softball team, winning state championships is nothing new. According to head coach Pablo Garcia, this same team of girls also won a state championship as a 10U team. After winning the District Four Championship, the girls went on to win the 12U State Championship on Monday, June 29, after coming out on top in a 12-team tournament in Lake City. After falling to the team from Ft. Caroline, they defeated a team from East Orange twice. They punched their ticket to the championship game after winning a contest against Wrigley. They took the state title after defeating West Volusia in the championship contest.
