
Hamilton Commissioners discuss destroyed transformers

On Tuesday, Nov. 7, the Hamilton County Board of County Commissioners met for its regularly scheduled meeting. The meeting began with approval of the consent agenda before discussing issues related to the aftermath of Hurricane Idalia. Here Gary Godwin, County Coordinator, told the board and public that the debris pick up had been extended until Friday, Nov. 10, and the board elected to continue the state of emergency. The next topic was grant updates from Spencer Nabors. He told the board that the CDBG grants were ready and they were just waiting for phase two to end.
