Gov. Desantis appoints Larry Thompson to Water Management Board

By Susan K. Lamb Riverbend News Florida Gov. Ron Desantis has appointed Lake City business owner Larry Thompson to fill an opening on the Suwannee River Water Management Board. Thompson was appointed on Friday, Dec. 18, to fill one of three vacancies on this board. This appointment is subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate. Thompson is the vice president/owner of Nature's Source Products and is the president/owner of Straw America. Previously, he was the president/owner of Custom Pine Straw and has volunteered with the Suwannee County Housing Authority and CareerSource Florida Crown.
