God’s Hidden Angels help over 400 families during the holidays

Jason Futch r [email protected] On a chilly Saturday morning in Live Oak, families from across Suwannee County queued up to receive a Christmas miracle: gifts for their children, so they can have a wonderful Christmas. On Saturday, Dec. 21, the First United Methodist Church of Live Oak initiated its third annual “God’s Hidden Angels” program. The program aims to help disadvantaged families throughout Suwannee County, so children can receive gifts on Christmas. It is an anonymous way for parishioners and donors to give back to the community. Planning for the annual event begins in October, and carries on through the help of volunteers at the church.
