Gallup’s most recent poll on church attendance in America has widely-held stereotypes running for cover. It has often been believed that women usually have to drag their husbands to church, where they promptly nod off during the sermon.
The poll revealed that 42% of men under 30 are returning to church, as opposed to the 28% who were attending in 2023.
Women under 30 who consider religion as “very important” are holding steady at 30%. Younger women continue to poll lowest for finding value in religious experience. Women over 30 score much higher, with 48% expressing the importance of religion in their lives.
