There’s something deeply ironic about watching adults ruin a children’s event.
This past weekend, I covered what should have been a simple, joyful Easter egg hunt in Live Oak. Three age groups. Clear boundaries. Staff doing their best to keep things organized and fair. For the most part, families followed the rules. Kids waited where they were told. Parents encouraged them from the sidelines.
And then there were a few who didn’t.
