Friends of Music concert season ends

Bill and Linda Poplin Contributo The final concert of the Friends of Music 2025- 26 concert season will be on Friday, April 17, at 7:30 p.m. in the sanctuary of Covenant First Presbyterian Church, located at 421 White Ave., in Live Oak. The concert will feature pianist Anthony Ratinov. Admission is free, and a reception follows. Born in Indiana, Ratinov began playing piano at the age of 4 under the teaching of his grandmother, Edith Ratinov, who taught at the renowned Gnessin Music School in Moscow, Russia, for 45 years. Most recently, Ratinov received the first prize at the 2021 Canada International Artists Piano Competition. He has won numerous awards in other competitions
