Four LOPD officers promoted to Sergeant

By Danny Federico Riverbend News Four Live Oak Police Department (LOPD) patrol officers were promoted to Sergeant on Thursday, Nov. 19. The ceremony took place in the Live Oak Police Department training room, located at 205 White Avenue SE, where Police Chief Eugene Davis presented badges to Sergeant Nicholas Gutshall, Sergeant Daylene Homer, Sergeant Shawn Craig and Sergeant Michael Nicholson. Applicants who met the current training standards and had served for at least one year were allowed to apply for the position of Patrol Sergeant.
