Former Jasper News editor passes away

Grace McAlister [email protected] Lillian Clarice Jones Norris passed away peacefully on Monday, Jan. 9, at Haven Hospice in Lake City, Fla., surrounded by her family. Jones was the wife of the late Dr. Wade B. Norris, Sr. and the mother of Dr. W. Benjamin Norris, Jr. and Mary Beth Norris Windham. Jones was a native of Franklin, N.C. Those who were blessed to be around when she reminisced about Franklin could almost feel the cool mountain breeze because her memories were so heartfelt.
