Former Hamilton County Sheriff Harrell Reid inducted into Florida Law Enforcement Officers’ Hall of Fame
Former Hamilton County Sheriff Harrell Reid, who passed away on April 23 of this year, was posthumously inducted into the Florida Law Enforcement Officers’ Hall of Fame during a ceremony held on Saturday, June 6, at the Florida Department of Law Enforcement headquarters in Tallahassee, Fla.
Reid was one of five law enforcement leaders recognized as part of the 2026 Hall of Fame class. According to Congresswoman Kat Cammack’s office, each inductee or their family received an American flag flown over the U.S. Capitol, along with a challenge coin and certificate of recognition.
