Former Hamilton County educator named new principal of Madison County High School

Rick Patrick Riverbend News During a special meeting of the Madison County District School Board on Wednesday, June 17, the board voted to confirm Peggy Hasty as the new principal at Madison County High School (MCHS). Hasty comes to the position after spending the last 13 years with the Hamilton County School District. While working in Hamilton County, she held a variety of roles, including teacher, assistant principal, principal and, for the past five years, the district’s Federal Programs Coordinator. Hasty is no stranger to challenges and to meeting them with bold, transformative ideas. She successfully led the consolidation of three community schools, helping to unite students, fa
