Flock devices come to Suwannee County

Suwannee County joins a growing list of municipalities across the nation taking advantage of an opportunity to utilize a specialized device designed to combat crime. The Suwannee County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) recently agreed with Flock Safety to help deter crime by utilizing the company’s Automated License Plate Reader (ALPR) cameras throughout the county. The devices are used to provide faster leads in criminal investigations and have proven to be a valuable tool in aiding the location of missing persons.
