First-generation blueberry grower named State award winner

Florida Farm Bureau Contributor Tyler Shadrick, of Shadrick Farms in Madison County, has been named the 2025 Florida Farm Bureau Achievement in Agriculture award winner. His announcement came at Florida Farm Bureau’s 84th Annual State Meeting on Monday, Oct. 27, at the Daytona Hilton Oceanfront Beach Resort. Shadrick is a first-generation blueberry grower. He built his 25-acre organic blueberry farm from the ground up, ensuring sustainability and profitability by implementing self-managed tools, such as advanced frost protection systems, organic certification protocols, and food safety plans.
