Since 1949, Mental Health America (MHA) has recognized May as Mental Health Awareness Month. This was, and continuers to be, an effort to bring awareness to the issue of mental health. This year, the theme for the month is “More Good Days, Together.” Mental Health America encourages everyone to reflect and consider what a “good day” is and looks like. It is hoped that the insight gained from that reflection will “connect people to the right support at the right time, and shape advocacy, education and community engagement to make more good days possible for all.”
