Each year, there are a select few politicians that try to change the way public notices are handled throughout the state of Florida. As it now stands, by law, every municipality is required to run their legals/public notices in their hometown newspaper for all to see/read; this includes foreclosures, notice of sales, notice to creditors, notice of meetings, tax deeds, notice of proposals for bids, notice of actions, etc. Proposed House Bill 35 (HB 35) would totally take all public notices and legals out of the newspapers and leave the responsibility to each individual municipality to put on their own website.  This would mean that you, as an individual, would have to log on to eac
