Eagles outlast the Hornets in season opener

The Hornets were led by seniors Ella Hancock and Bre Robinson, who are strong defensive players and equally adept at three-pointers. The team has other vital members as well: Kelby-Grace Lyons is a powerful force as a power forward under the basket; Kiley Beach adds energy with her ball-handling skills and sharpshooting; and Coach Erin Beach is excited about the additions of freshmen Jada Copeland and Havyn Richardson, who both bring offensive attacks from different angles.
