Drunk driver plows through business

By Bryant Thigpen Riverbend News A Branford man was arrested late Monday night after driving while intoxicated, which resulted in his vehicle crashing into the Branford Health and Fitness Center, according to the Suwannee County Sheriff’s Office, (SCSO). Suwannee County Fire Rescue (SCFR) was on hand to help recover the vehicle which landed approximately 25 feet inside the building.  According to SCFR, on Monday, Sept. 7, at approximately 11:18 p.m., Suwannee Fire Rescue Units received reports of a vehicle crash involving a pickup truck that had crashed into a building on Suwannee Ave., in Branford.
