By Danny Federico: Riverbend News According to a Jasper Police Department (JPD) report, on Saturday, Nov. 14, officers with the JPD conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on I-75 at the 448 mile marker southbound, after witnessing a violation of the Florida window tint law at the Marathon gas station on US-129 South. After a short investigation, the officers conducted a probable cause search of the vehicle, where they discovered 1.78 pounds of marijuana, 19.5 grams of Alprazolam (Xanax), 1.3 grams of MDMA (Ecstasy), two handguns, a food vacuum sealer, numerous amounts of sandwich bags, several weight scales and $1,553.
