Downtown Live Oak Chili Crawl a blast

Live Oak saw a unique event pop up on Saturday, Oct. 18., as the Down Town Cafe hosted its first-ever chili crawl. Attendees stopped by Derrick's BBQ first to pick up a map. Then, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., they followed the map to different restaurants and venues across the Downtown Live Oak area. At each stop, attendees could try some chili and vote for their favorite recipe. Once they had completed the map, they went to Down Town Cafe to see if they had won any door prizes.
The event was a resounding success. Roughly 80 people participated in the crawl, and nine of them walked away with door prizes. Of course, the chili makers were curious
