Crosses for Our Community Veterans Day display returns

Grace McAlister [email protected] In November 2021, in honor of Veterans Day, Crosses for Our Community lined the streets of Live Oak with white crosses bearing the names of Veterans, both alive and fallen, for two weeks. The group has decided to set up this breathtaking display again this year. Each cross is accompanied by an American flag, as well as the Veteran’s military branch and a sticker signifying whether they are a Purple Heart recipient. Crosses for our Community, founded in May of 2021, is an organization aiming to show appreciation to our Veterans who have served and are currently serving our country.
