Counties come together to celebrate Rural Counties Day

Jason Futch Reporter2@riverbendnews.org Rural counties throughout Florida had the opportunity to take part in Rural Counties Day at the Florida State Capitol. From spotlighting Hamilton County’s growth to the Lafayette County Chamber of Commerce passing out sweet tea to promote the county, it was an excellent way for the area to connect with others.   Rural Counties Day is a premier two-day advocacy event in Tallahassee where leaders from 31 rural counties showcase their communities to state legislators.
