Corrections regarding “Finding Lesley” article
In the Wednesday, Sept. 10, issue of Riverbend News, in the “‘Finding Lesley’ hopes to raise awareness for breast cancer” article, the mobile mammogram unit was advertised as being present for the Kickoff Event at Heritage Park & Gardens on Saturday, Sept. 27. According to event organizer Stacy Carter, the mobile unit will not be present at the event, but signups will continue to take place to register for free mammograms.
Additionally, Riverbend News provided some information regarding a scavenger hunt that was prematurely released, which was not supposed to be included in the article. The hashtag also misspelled Lesley Fry’s first name.
Riverbend News also would like to clarify the wording “snuck in,” referring to Fry’s surgery at Madison County Memorial Hospital. It was not a proper word to use for the article, clarifying her visit to the hospital was scheduled correctly. Riverbend News would like to apologize for any misunderstandings this may have caused.
Corrections regarding Bullock trial article

Attorney Lucas Taylor (left), representing Jason Andrew Bullock (right), explained to Judge Katy Land the reasoning behind the plea arrangement. Shortly after his presentation, Judge Land ruled against the agreement.
