Community mourns loss of District 2 Commissioner Maurice Perkins

Jason Futch reporter2@riverbendnews.org Suwannee County residents and community leaders are mourning the loss of District 2 County Commissioner Maurice Perkins, who passed away following a battle with pancreatic cancer. Perkins, who was elected in 2022, died on Wednesday, Nov. 26, at his home.
