Community mourns loss of 19-year-old Branford graduate

Danny Federico editor@riverbendnews.org Residents of Branford and Suwannee County as a whole are mourning the loss of 19-year-old Cloey Criggall, an O’Brien resident and Branford High School graduate who died in a car crash over the weekend. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash occurred Sunday afternoon, Nov. 9, on Interstate 10 in Gadsden County. Troopers reported that Criggall was traveling westbound around 4 p.m. when her vehicle veered off the roadway and struck a tree. She was pronounced deceased at the scene. The report noted it was raining heavily at the time of the crash. Criggall was known throughout the community as a standout athlete for the Buccaneers
