Do you know a small business that stands out and deserves recognition for its unwavering dedication to uplifting your community? Take a moment to acknowledge their contributions by nominating them as Community Champions for the 2025 Kinetic Business Awards.
According to its website, the Kinetic Business Community Champions Awards celebrate the unsung heroes–the small businesses which are the heartbeat of the neighborhoods in the area. Kinetic Business wants to acknowledge the local business owners who turn ambition into reality and demonstrate when businesses thrive, communities flourish.
Kinetic will acknowledge excellence across various impact areas, including social impact, economic impact, environmental impact, business transformation, and any other categories not listed.
To enter, visit www.business.windstream.com and provide the business name, contact information and the category they are being nominated for. From there, tell the story of how the business has made an impact on the community and highlight their achievements, showcasing the unique way the company has leveraged technology and innovation. Finally, submit supporting materials, including documents or testimonials which may help in their nomination.
While Kinetic encourages self-nominations, some rules and guidelines govern the nomination process. The nominations are limited to small businesses who are current Kinetic customers utilizing either Kinetic Business or residential services, and reside within Windstream’s 18-state footprint.
“Small businesses are the backbone of our economy and add to every city’s vibrancy, yet massive corporations often overshadow them,” said Michael Flannery, president of Kinetic Business, in a press statement. “We see countless examples of these businesses–in the communities we serve and live in, too–being true catalysts for growth, transformation and goodwill.”
Nominations may be submitted until Thursday, July 31. After this deadline, three winners will be designated Community Champions and will receive up to $10,000, which will be donated to a qualified charity of their choice. The winners will be announced in August.
