Commissioners approve Suwannee County Historical Museum deed transfer

With the building facing substantial insurance and repair costs in the wake of Hurricane Helene, the board discussed whether to take ownership of the historic building from the Suwannee County Historical Commission. This move, which had been in the works for almost a year, resulted in the commissioners voting to accept the transfer of the property to the county.
