As the summer sun again finds its strength, it signals that hunting season is just around the corner. Since my youth, hunting has always been one of my passions, though my early hunts consisted mainly of frogs, caterpillars and roly-polies.
There’s a certain thrill involved in the pursuit of an animal in the wild, especially if that animal tastes really good over rice and gravy. I caught that thrill the first time I went deer hunting. Forty- five minutes into the adventure, I was in love with the sounds and scents of the forest. It was a cold day, but I was warm with excitement just because I was experiencing nature at its finest.
