Charity Golf Tournament to benefit local athlete competing internationally

Hailey Waldo Riverbend News Golfers and the community are invited to take part in the First Annual Red, White and Blue Charity Golf Tournament on Saturday, July 11, at the Suwannee Country Club, located at 7932 U.S. 90 in Live Oak. The event celebrates America’s 250th anniversary while raising funds to support local athlete Steven Danaher as he represents the United States in the 2026 WAKO Pan American Kickboxing Championship. The tournament will begin at 8:30 a.m. with a shotgun start and will feature a three-person scramble format.
