For those who like to keep eyes on the skies, May has some interesting activity in store.
• For most of the month, Venus and Jupiter will be visible when looking west around sunset.
• May 1: Full Flower Moon May's full moon is called the Flower Moon. This festive name comes from various Native American cultures, appropriately called this because of the abundant flowers blooming around this time of year.
• May 4-6: Eta Aquarid meteor shower peaks
