Celebrate Recovery, a faith-based program designed to help individuals struggling with addictions of all forms, will be holding an open invitation community event on Saturday, Sept. 27.
The event will offer interested individuals the opportunity to learn more about the program and meet the organizers. Food and refreshments will also be available. A fundraiser will take place at the end of the informational event, where participants can either make a donation or purchase baked goods.
The event will begin at 1 p.m. at the Live Oak Garden Club, located next to the Coliseum at 1300 11th St. SW.
Celebrate Recovery’s official launch date is set for Saturday, Oct. 19, at 2 p.m., at the Apostolic Lighthouse Church of Live Oak, located at 10344 CR 10A. The program will kick off with food and fellowship, followed by a structured meeting that includes singing two songs, a chip ceremony, a lesson, sharing a personal testimony, and small breakout groups separated by gender.
Celebrate Recovery aims to provide a confidential space with options for sponsorship and accountability partners.
