Celebrate Independence Day with the Mayo Woman’s Club

Danny Federico [email protected] Lafayette County will kick off its Fourth of July celebrations early, as the Mayo Woman’s Club will be hosting “A Hometown Salute to Faith, Family and Freedom” on Friday, July 3, at the Edward Perry Sports Complex, located at 840 N.E. C.R. 400. The celebration, which will take place from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., will feature food vendors and family-friendly activities, all in celebration of America’s 250th birthday. The Mayo Recreational Soccer program will also host a fundraiser during the festival, featuring two inflatable slides: the Little Dipper, a 16-foot dual-lane slide and the Melting Arctic, a wet/dry combo.
